⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ on service alone - Kayla and Luisa thank you!! I stayed here while in Boston for a concert at TD Garden- upon arriving to Boston, I ran into an issue with a lost item and an issue with the bus transportation service. The staff here at the front desk (Kayla and Luisa) went absolutely above and beyond and were so gracious in helping me with the issue, holding onto my luggage so I could go back to the bus station and they even went as far as taking it upon themselves to call the bus company and help me try to locate the lost item. With their help, the item was found! They were so incredibly kind and patient, without their initiative I do not believe we would have been able to locate the item, and would not have been able to attend the concert. These ladies saved the day and were absolute rockstars. Thank you both for turning a panicked weekend into a wonderful one, I truly appreciate it! This was an amazing place to stay, location is fantastic, room features were great, room was very clean. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!
This hotel was extremely convenient for my and my wife’s stay. We loved the lobby, filled with books and so much decor and art pieces. The rooms are small, but cute nonetheless. You can walk in any direction and experience so many different sides of Boston. We came for the Summer Walker concert at TD Garden and it was literally next door. A food hall with 18 different restaurants is next door as well. Boston’s oldest bar, Sullivan’s, is across the street as well other bars, convenient stores, banks, and other quick bites. Next time we come to Boston, we would definitely stay here again!
I'm a hockey fan with Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite status, so the citizenM Boston North Station seemed like the perfect hotel for my quick trip to catch a game at TD Garden. I learned my lesson though: if something appears too good to be true it probably is. Since my cross-country flight arrived at dinnertime, my partner and I dropped our bags without really investigating the room before heading out to eat. The hotel is conveniently located not only to TD Garden but also to public transit and local gems; that's why I'm rating the location 5*. On our return, we got ready for bed only to discover there was no top sheet. My partner called down to the "front desk" only to be told that's not provided by default. This unsanitary practice is unbecoming of a Marriott property. During the call to the "front desk" we also enquired about washcloths, as the room was only stocked with hand and bath towels; apparently those are available on a tray at the checkin area so you can take as many as necessary. That arrangement doesn't seem very sanitary either. It wasn't 'til my partner came back with the washcloths that I realized there aren't any cups in the room. So back down he went to get cups from the cafe. (It felt like that punchline in Come From Away when the mayor kept going back to Savers for supplies.) It's been about an hour since he made the call to the "front desk" yet we're still waiting for housekeeping. Since it's already damn near 11 p.m. I'm not optimistic we're getting that top sheet tonight. So much for convenience and quality. The room gets 2* for the comfort of the bed only, as I'm docking it for all the lacking amenities I've outlined. I'm giving 2* for service instead of 1* since Andrew was very helpful during checkin. I truly don't understand how this hotel is considered a 4-star property. I've stayed at enough Marriott brands to know better. Edit: Housekeeping arrived moments after I posted my review to deliver a top sheet for us to put on ourselves. Then, as my partner was fumbling with making the bed, housekeeping knocked again to deliver a comforter (which we already had).
A very nice room for one person, with a beautiful view of the city - perfect for watching the sunrise. All the sights are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend it for shorter stays. The room had high-quality toiletries in the shower, cream, and a hair dryer. Another highlight was definitely the control of the room via a tablet, including blinds. I was alone and there was no space in the room to open my two suitcases. I can't imagine if there had been two of us and we had to pack, for example, before departure. It would have been extremely difficult. I was a little bothered by the temperature in the room, or rather that there was a draft from the window, where the bed was also located, despite the blinds, and it was cold there, as if it wasn't well sealed. I missed a coffee maker or at least a kettle in the room for this price. Also, the water pressure in the shower was quite weak.
Great hotel to stay at if you’re attending anything at TD garden. My girlfriend and I had bruins tickets and wanted to stay somewhere local and this was the most convenient place to go. Not only convenient but super welcoming and cozy too! It was my birthday and they offered me a drink on the house at the bar they have! Everything was so easy going, oh and The dumplings were some of the best I’ve had! The room was super clean and comfortable with an amazing view. I can’t wait for my next visit here !
