A wet and windy autumn day...The main building is not open to the public but the grounds and tropical garden are free. Both are pleasant, even in autumn, when all the plants are going to sleep. The adjacent cafe had good coffee and cake.

One of my favourites places in Bonn! I visited on a raining day but the views were amazing!

OK, you should visit here, the schloss itself is closed to the public (one museum of fossils was open) but the grounds are breathe taking! Enter via a small cafe (try the milchkaffe!) And after stroll around the free gardens; the grounds have a teal mixture of planting and it's all labelled! They have different zones... and then you discover the glass houses !! Superb!!!

Beautiful Schloss! (Only spend time visiting the garden and was only able to admire the outside). Currently the front side is being refurbished and scaffolding is in place, however views from the botanical gardens are stunning!
