Went there for 2 nights over a busy weekend. Staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel itself great. I liked my room, it was spacious, very clean, quiet and most important -> the bed very comfy. The little coffee maker's coffee tasted great. We used the spa and enjoyed it. In the evening we ended up in the hotel bar. The staff there was more than friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome, even when they had their hands full that evening.

I had a fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin during a recent business trip. As a woman traveling solo, I particularly appreciated the incredibly calm, composed, and secure atmosphere of the hotel, paired with a level of service that is polished, discreet, and highly professional. Situated in the Potsdamer Platz central business area, the location is perfect for work. It is exceptionally well-connected via the tube, making it seamless to get around for meetings, while still being close to great restaurants and key attractions. Because it's a business district, it’s peaceful at night, not in the chaotic thick of the nightlife action, which was ideal for getting a good night's rest. The staff truly stand out. From check-in to checkout, the service was consistently warm and attentive. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after without being intrusive. The atmosphere leans heavily toward refined luxury and quiet professionalism, which fits a business itinerary perfectly. It’s an exceptional hotel offering remarkable value within its luxury category. I will absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Berlin.

We had a wonderful four night stay here! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large and luxurious. The staff was wonderful. Lidia at the front desk welcomed us and later sent up an incredible anniversary cake. Thomas, Rita and Hannah at Pots Restaurant were fabulous. They couldn’t have been sweeter. Hannah even sent us home with some Berlin souvenirs and the tea we loved that we can’t find in the states! A touching gesture and wonderful staff! Highly recommend!

My stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, the level of professionalism, warmth, and true hospitality exceeded every expectation. I would especially like to recognize Mandeep Kaur and Chuan Jiang from the Club Lounge team. These two individuals treated us with genuine kindness, respect, and care every single day of our stay. What stood out even more was observing how gracefully and professionally they handled difficult or unkind guests while continuing to provide impeccable service with patience and dignity. That level of composure and excellence cannot be taught easily — it reflects true hospitality leadership. They are absolutely the reason the Ritz-Carlton brand continues to set the standard in luxury hotels. Quite frankly, these employees deserve recognition and a raise for the caliber of service they consistently provide. The housekeeping staff were equally phenomenal. Our room was maintained to an expert luxury standard every day, and every accommodation or request was handled immediately and without hesitation. The attention to detail was remarkable. The hotel itself is immaculate, elegant, and beautifully maintained. The location is superb — perfectly situated within walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, shopping, and events throughout Berlin. Most importantly, every single staff member we encountered treated us with professionalism, warmth, and hospitality. This was not just a hotel stay; it was a luxury experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend the Ritz-Carlton Berlin and look forward to returning.

As other reviewers have said, and I can unfortunately confirm, this Ritz location offers nice accommodations in a great location, but service is hit or miss. They have rock stars, like Terry, Salome, and Sean, that embody everything the brand should be. And there are others that don't. I was excited to celebrate a milestone birthday, which I included in my reservation details. We arrived a couple hours after check in and were upgraded to the same category, but corner room, as a perk of marriott gold or amex plat. We opted to bring our own luggage up. I later asked if we could secure reservations for afternoon tea, something I was really looking forward to, and was told it was impossible- no openings. I was very disappointed, but we decided to sightsee the next day. The next day I contacted guest services with a question and was told, unsolicited, that they could arrange a tea reservation. I declined, since it was already late afternoon and I wasn't on site. Seeing my messages later, Salome came up with a birthday gift (related to the earlier question I had) and a handwritten note wishing me well - I was honestly surprised and grateful. For a birthday celebration, we ordered room service cake, and Sean was fantastic. Terry! (high five), the bellman, made us feel like friends the first time we met. All said, it worked out okay and salvaged the stay- but it could have been the best and most memorable time if everyone we encountered were like Terry, Salome, and Sean.
