I got a ultimate pedicure spa at Cowshed. I was very satisfied with the practitioner. However, Cowshed is a place where function follows form . Uncomfortable armchairs where everyone takes an extra pillow to support the back. And what is the point with the small TVs? There were random music videos and TV ads playing-not much of a spa atmosphere. Ultimately, they don’t offer shellack which is disappointing (probably due to lack of proper nail salon equipment and ergonomics). Overall, it’s okay. I rather go to my usual nail salon where it’s comfortable to sit.

Vibrant and lively hotel . Excellent Italian restaurant in the ground floor. Well equipped gym. The location is not the best for exploring Berlin and the prices for the rooms are higher than more luxurious hotels.

If you’re planning to stay at Soho House Berlin, I sincerely recommend you don’t leave your room, it’s the only part of the hotel that actually works. The rooms themselves are beautiful, no complaints there. Everything else, however, is a masterclass in chaos. The reception is unreliable, the tables in the club look like they haven’t seen a cleaning cloth in weeks, and most of the staff seem to have graduated from the “how to be rude 101” training program. With one shining exception, a single girl who was genuinely helpful, everyone else operates on the level of a budget hostel rather than a so-called five-star establishment. And let’s be clear: laziness cannot be justified by “Soho House values alignment.” It’s not charming, it’s not “community spirit,” and it’s definitely not “cool.” It’s simply unprofessional. That kind of attitude might fly in a place where guests stay for free and staff aren’t being paid, but when I’m paying full price, I expect at least the basics of hospitality. At some point, I realized I was doing more work than the staff, and when you politely remind them that service is, in fact, their job, they somehow manage to take offense. Quite an experience.

I recently attended a private event at Soho House, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Throughout the evening, several staff members were openly gossiping about other families, guests, and even a new member of their own team. The conversations were personal and inappropriate for a professional hospitality setting. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and raised concerns about discretion and professionalism qualities that should be fundamental in a members’ club environment. In addition to this, the service itself was poor. Staff appeared more focused on their conversations than on attending to guests, which resulted in slow and inattentive service. For a private event at a venue known for its exclusivity and standards, this was far below expectations.

Party in the basement: I have never experienced a worst bar. No drinks, they had to stick to the 5-long-drink-menu, bier wars empty as well. Seem like it was the first shift of all 4 people
