We had the room with the terrace. It was beautiful ❤️. Plants all around and a lovely view of the street. The room was tastefully. Just needed labels for the skylight controls. The restaurant is incredible. Wonderful food. Worth going there even if you are not staying at the hotel. All the staff were kind and polite speaking German and English very well. Would definitely return when next in Berlin.
Charming hotel with opulent interiors. The lift was so much fun to use. I was only here for one night and likely would've struggled for wardrobe space if I'd stayed for longer in the smallest room (the jewel box), but still very much worth checking out for the design. I'd come back, but opt for a larger room for comfort. Bartender was also very friendly and gave great restaurant tips.
It is a nice hotel - unfortunately the service is not good. The staff in the reception did not talk together with the restaurant. So we were charge €10,- to much on our breakfast. We tried to talk to the staff and waited more than 6 hours for the General Manager to contact us. After we have chased the reception 3 times, we got the message that he had left for the day. Bad service - Which is a pity. We hope to hear back from the manager, so we can find a solution on the€10,- we were charged too much!
Lovely boutique hotel in a quite location. Tasteful decor couple with great breakfast spread as well as coffee. Suggested as romantic escape !
The hotel made an interesting and atmospheric impression. The first impression was quite pleasant. However, upon check-in, the reception staff did not seem very welcoming: my request to change the room was met with a rather strange reaction. In the end, the room was changed, which I appreciate. The reason for my request was the persistent smell of cigarettes in the room. I was a bit surprised that the staff did not seem to realize that such a smell can linger for days. This somewhat spoiled the impression of hospitality. As for cleanliness, there is definitely room for improvement: there was a lot of dust, the mirrors were not completely clean, and the blanket was simply wrapped in two sheets instead of a duvet cover. On the positive side, breakfast was delightful — tasty, beautifully presented, with attentive and friendly service. The restaurant itself is very cozy. I also enjoyed the small garden courtyard, a wonderful and atmospheric spot to sit with a cup of coffee. Overall, the hotel left a good impression. An additional advantage is the proximity to the metro (just a 2-minute walk) and a convenient location — about 6 km from the city center.
