I had an incredible dining experience at CODA. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The staff is warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Each course was carefully introduced with detailed explanations, not only of the ingredients but also of the philosophy behind the dish and the concept of the restaurant. It really elevated the entire experience and made it feel thoughtful and unique. We chose the wine flight pairing, and it acted as a perfect bridge between the courses, creating a seamless and harmonious progression throughout the meal. Every dish was paired with a cocktail. They were perfectly thought out and complemented the dish beautifully. There is also a great non-alcoholic pairing option, which is a fantastic touch for those who prefer it. What stood out as well was how accommodating the team is. They are very attentive to dietary restrictions and go the extra mile to adjust the menu to ensure you have the best possible experience. Overall, an unforgettable evening. Creative, refined, and full of attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin.
I had an amazing time at CODA in Berlin! The front of house staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Though they say “dessert inspired” do not be fooled into thinking the food isn’t balanced, hitting all flavor profiles, salty, sour, sweet, etc. Each new course was a surprise and made me smile with the unique flavor profiles. If you can swing it, I definitely think the iconic caviar popsicle is worth it! Such a mind-bending course. This is not your typical fine dining restaurant and that’s what makes it so great! Highly recommend!
An unforgettable experience. CODA delivers far beyond what I expected - not just a meal, but a perfectly orchestrated sensory journey. Every course is built with precision, creativity, and a kind of quiet confidence that shows how deeply the team understands flavor, texture, and technique. The dishes are surprising in the best way possible. The tomato course was one of the most unique things I’ve ever tasted - clean, intense, and completely reimagined. The following courses continued the momentum with beautiful balance, playful contrasts, and an elegance that never felt forced. The drink pairings were thoughtful, daring, and honestly elevated the entire menu. Each pairing added a new layer to the dish without overpowering it. Service was warm, professional, and perfectly paced. The team knows exactly when to speak and when to let you enjoy the moment - something that’s rare even in Michelin-level dining. CODA isn’t just a restaurant - it’s an experience. One of the highlights of my trip to Berlin, and absolutely worth every moment. Highly recommended.
One of the best fine dining in Berlin. Not a typical fine dining with starters-main-dessert split. Every course was surprising as you don’t know what to expect from the look of then course. Service is top. Black caviar popsicle is must try.
An outstanding experience. The food was inventive and delicious, the alcoholic pairings (primarily cocktails with a couple of wine options) were thoughtful and perfect complements to the courses. And the service was excellent, everyone was friendly and genuine, always ready with a warm smile and a great laugh (and I'm so grateful that everyone spoke flawless English, it's not lost on me how spoilt I am that we're made to feel so welcome).
