We had the best stay here! The staff were so friendly and helpful going above & beyond for us. The room was huge, modern and clean. The bed was super comfy & the bathroom was also huge with great shower pressure. We were walking distance to all the attractions & subway, including a variety of eateries to choose from. We had a late check out of 12pm & the staff kindly let us store our bags until late in the evening and even offered for us to use the common space if we wished which includes free drinks and a great coffee machine. once we left they even called us a taxi. One of the best stays we’ve had abroad. Five stars 🌟 Thank you for your kindness and hospitality :)
I saw a bad review earlier this week now it has disappeared I guess it got deleted. Overall, misleading, hostel standard marketed as a hotel. The photos do not reflect the actual condition. 1. The room felt more like a poorly maintained hostel than a hotel. Everything was old and not well maintained — furnishings were rusty, including the shower head. The shower head and door handle even fell apart in the other suite room that my family stayed in. There was also a bad drainage smell from the toilet. 2. The property is located in an alley and gets very dark at night — solo female travellers should be wary. 3. Staff were not as friendly as reviews suggest. I overheard two staff complaining about other guests in another room just for requesting an extra blanket, which was quite off-putting. 4. There is laundry available, but you still have to pay for the pods, which feels misleading. I don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. At best, it’s a 2/10. Seems like people overlook the condition because it’s cheap and offers free drinks.
Highly recommended! The hotel is close to tourist attractions, shopping areas, and just 100 meters from the Subway station. The room is clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the staff are extremely helpful. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing.
"We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Stey Wangfujing. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Beijing—very central but still manageable. The hotel itself is incredibly clean and offers excellent value for the price. One of the highlights was the lobby area, which features free self-service Nespresso coffee—a great perk to start the day! While it is a self-service concept, we found that everything we needed was provided and the system works seamlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a modern, efficient, and well-located stay."
Hotel was basic, clean and modern. Very little service but that’s the model. Staff were nice. Reception was up 1 floor, signage could have been better.
