Our stay at the Rosewood Beijing was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very elegant the only downside is that they feel a bit dark. Other than that, everything was exceptional. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with incredible quality and variety, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. The spa was WOW truly one of the best parts of the hotel. The pool area and overall aesthetics of the property are absolutely stunning. Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at in Beijing.
While the breakfast options lack some of the healthier and more exciting options, the hotel itself offers excellent rooms, terrific and responsive service, and a great vibe. I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every day. The gym is terrific and the restaurants will blow your mind. There is construction at the present time so be aware if you are sensitive.
⭐️⭐️ (Being generous) Worst Rosewood I’ve stayed at — and I’ve played away games in tougher arenas. Getting a simple coffee order here felt like running a full 7-game playoff series. I tried very hard to speak in Chinese, yet somehow it took three staff members to finally get it… still wrong. Great teamwork, questionable execution. Breakfast buffet highlight: A guest vaping openly like it’s a locker room, not a dining area. Staff response? Full defensive breakdown. No one stepped in. Zero calls. Play on. For a brand that positions itself as luxury, this felt more like missed rotations, blown coverage, and no court awareness. Rosewood, you’re supposed to be championship caliber — but this stay? Straight lottery team energy.
The view is absolutely horrible. It feels so inauspicious to sleep right next to a giant chimney. To make matters worse, they charge an extra 500 just to “upgrade” to a room without this depressing sight. Totally unfair and not worth it.
Excellent water pressure in shower and bathroom. One of the best. 💦 Excellent service, beautiful hotel, rooms, pool, etc. Highly recommended.
