Cool spot. Super nice underpants building with scenic of Beijing traffics. A lot of electric motorcycle, pedestrians, and mall just the opposite. Go to 6th floor and find terrace with this transformer building. Very good for pictures!

While casually walking around the area, it really feels like you’re right in the heart of Beijing. No matter which direction you go, this iconic building keeps appearing in view, making it hard to miss 🏙️. Locals commonly refer to it as “the Pants” because of its distinctive shape👖, which adds a bit of humor to its strong visual presence. I also overheard some stories about the building from my cousin, which made the visit feel more interesting and rooted in local culture, even without going inside😊

Headquarters of China Central Television (CCTV). Locals often call it the “Big Pants” because the shape resembles a giant pair of pants. Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren are the architects.

An iconic building and a must-see for those into architecture. For the best views, walk across the street to China World Mall (国贸商城) take the elevator to Level 6, there’s a viewing platform next to Blue Frog Bar & Grill, it’s free for visitors to hang out and take photos of this modern marvel.

Very cool building, and if you’re in the area a great piece of architecture to view. It sadly didn’t have the lighting on when we were there, but still impressive. Looked nicer in the day as we drove past
