It’s all about Carlos and his 5 star attitude towards guests! Our stay here was fantastic, but the absolute highlight was the service at the front desk. Carlos is, hands down, the best receptionist I have ever encountered. From the second we checked in, Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He is professional, incredibly friendly, and handles everything with a level of care you just don't see anymore. Whether it was a local recommendation or a quick request for the room, Carlos had it handled before we even finished asking. The hotel itself is great—clean, comfortable, and well-located—but Carlos is the reason we will be recommending this place to everyone we know. If you’re lucky enough to be checked in by him, you know you’re in good hands. Management: Give Carlos a raise! He is the heart of this hotel.
The hotel is truly top-notch and highly recommended. The service is at an exceptionally high level, and the staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I would especially like to praise the girls at the reception, who were extremely kind and accommodating, and a big plus is that they allowed us an early check-in, which meant a lot to us. The room was fully equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, very clean, modern, and well maintained. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant and relaxing, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. Everything was perfectly organized, from arrival to departure, and we would definitely choose this hotel again.
The UMA House reservation staff was responsive from the start. Easy to deal with and expedient with responses to questions. Once at hotel, the staff wa s very attentive and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located to do a sight seeing walk to the Sagrada Família, Gothic Quarters, La Pedrera, La Boqueria, La Rambla, etc. I will stay here if in Barcelona again soon.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is perfect u are near everything. The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Elena who recommended us what to visit and where to go. The hotel is most importantly very clean. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Overall, we had a nice stay at Yurbban Trafalgar. The rooms were definitely on the small side, but they were clean and well maintained. They provide premium toiletries if requested. I like how they also provide a glass bottle that is refillable. Everyday they have a complimentary cheese and wine hour in the lobby area with free pouring red wine, white wine and sangria until it runs out. They have a small gym and rooftop pool/bar area. The location of the hotel is very central and walkable. The rooftop has a nice view over the city. The service was friendly however, I had to take one star off because we asked the gentleman who checked us out to ensure one of the guests we had met during our stay was given a bottle of wine we had left him, but the guest never received it which was very disappointing.
