Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful in every detail. We were celebrating my 30th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. A special thank you to Jiji from Guest Relations, who made everything feel so personal and seamless, and Diego from Concierge, whose help and attention to detail really elevated our experience. Their care and professionalism stood out and made a lasting impression. The team surprised us with a beautiful cake and took great care to accommodate our dietary requirements without any fuss, which meant a lot to us. It felt sincere and tailored, not just a standard gesture. The food throughout our stay was absolutely exceptional—every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Combined with the incredible service, it made for a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt, this was the best customer service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. We left feeling completely looked after and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and thoughtful stay in Barcelona.
We had such a lovely experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make both us and our dog feel comfortable. It’s rare to find a high-end restaurant that is genuinely dog-friendly, but they were so kind and accommodating to her throughout our visit. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was outstanding. You can really tell they care about their customers and create a warm, relaxed environment for everyone — including four-legged guests. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal with exceptional hospitality.

The team thoughtfully curated a special wellness regime for us, which included access to a private jacuzzi—an indulgent and deeply relaxing highlight of our stay. We were also incredibly impressed with Diego from the concierge team. His knowledge, recommendations, and willingness to assist made exploring Barcelona effortless and enjoyable. The Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, the service was seamless, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The concierge team is truly exceptional—they were excellent at navigating the local scene and managed to secure us a table at a restaurant we had been wanting to try, which was a major highlight. Their additional suggestions for the city were wonderful and spot-on. The customer service across the entire property is excellent, but a special mention must go to the team at Banker’s Bar. Juana and Hugo are absolutely wonderful—they are professional and welcoming. Their energy and attention to detail made our evenings there a highlight of the trip. Whether you are stopping in for a cocktail or staying at the hotel, the staff here ensures a world-class experience. I cannot recommend it enough!
We went to the Bank Bar at the Mandarin Oriental for drinks recently, and we had incredible service! We had Freddie as our server 2 nights in a row, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He was attentive and kind and just a delight to be around and made our experience wonderful - we didn’t want to leave!
