I want to share one hidden gem inside The Legian Seminyak which honestly became one of my favorite wellness experiences in Bali. Some places in Bali remind you that relaxation is actually an art. This experience was much more than just a Balinese massage. From the first minutes everything slowly puts you into different state of mind : the smell, peaceful atmosphere, sound of waves, ocean view, warm tea before and after treatment, beautiful small details everywhere. I really appreciated that before starting they carefully asked about body condition, pressure, areas needing more attention. It felt very personal and professional, not robotic luxury service created only for aesthetic. And honestly the therapist was incredible for the real understanding of the body. The type of treatment after which you suddenly realize how much tension you were carrying without even noticing it before. After the session my body felt lighter, healthier, calmer… almost like nervous system restarted itself. I honestly can explain for very long time why this experience felt so special, but before trying it yourself you probably still will not fully understand what I mean. Some things in Bali are difficult to describe with words because the real value is in what you feel after. Very, very worth it.

Still the absolute benchmark for luxury in Seminyak We just finished another beautiful stay at The Legian, and it’s honestly remarkable how this place stays so consistently perfect. I first stayed here in 2008, and returning now, I’m struck by how they’ve managed to preserve that special "Legian magic" while keeping everything feeling fresh and top-tier. Having stayed in many of the best hotels across Southeast Asia, I can say with confidence: The Legian is still in a league of its own. What sets it apart for me: The Service: It’s that rare mix of being incredibly professional yet feeling totally warm and personal. The attention to detail is just unmatched. The Food & Location: The food and drinks were a highlight of our trip (every meal was a 10/10), and the location on that specific stretch of Seminyak beach is, in my opinion, one of the best on the island. The Consistency: It’s one thing to be a great hotel for a few years, but to maintain this level of excellence since our first visit in 2008 is a massive achievement. They clearly don't cut corners. If you’re looking for a place that combines soul, sophisticated luxury, and genuine Balinese hospitality, this is it. Huge thanks to the team for another unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back❤️

The lady manager went above and beyond. We booked our room last minute due to health reasons and the manager immediately noticed we were tired and provided us with a temporary room to relax until our room was ready. Soon after we were notified that our room was ready, only to be surprised with a complimentary triple upgrade to a two-bedroom ocean suite. When she learned it was our 1 year anniversary, she prepared a cake in our suite. The hotel and restaurant have the most beautiful views of the Indian ocean. I highly recommend this hotel. The manager is a gem.

While the Legian Bali has exceptional potential, ongoing renovations and lack of communication significantly detract from the guest experience. Disappointing. This hotel should normally get an outright 5 star review but unfortunately the hotel is undergoing extensive renovations on rooms, common areas (lobby, pool deck, etc). Also half of the pool/gardens and beach salas are closed. Renovation can go way past 9pm as they work with flood lights. There was/is no mention on their website about ongoing construction work nor did we get advised when confirming our booking via the hotel. This is standard practice for any hotel under renovation.

Truly a 5-star experience in every respect. Just had a nice conversation with the general manager Maximilian while at breakfast. Excellence starts at the top, and we’ve experienced that standard throughout our entire stay. Highly recommended!
