Nice beach club and restaurant on petitenget beach. Beach was aweful full of plastic, no shade thats why i ended up here. They say free but actually each place you sit there is a minimum consumption of at least 500k, which you actually get easy by having 1 meal and drink. So def. On the pricey side, as located on 5star hotel property. If you come at sunset youll pay a cover charge and it gets really full when the sun goes down. Nice pools, laying area minimum 1 mill, consumption. Party music all around, very attentive staff, as they want you to consume. Food drinks actually surprisingly good, but small. Was there on friday, party goes till 2am. So can be there all day. Got really full though, all types of people from families, to locals, companies retreat, lots of couples. Some solo travellers, and of course drunk aussies. Acess from beach or road. Well maintained facility, quite a big area, including 1 huge infinity pool, pool bar, baby pool, grassy carpet, lying area, shaded bar, wooden seating for sunset views, rooftop restaurant and more.
What a memorable experience. Loved our time in potato head. The staff were lovely and attentive. There give you towels and lockers to put your valuables in if you wanted to go in the water. The venue is absolutely stunning- and very busy, but it’s quite sizeable so didn’t feel overcrowded and there’s lots of different sections where you can choose the vibe you’re going for- whether you want to chill out and lounge, grab a bite or a drink or have a party, they’ve got you covered. There is an entrance fee but it’s basically used as a minimum spend as they give you it as credit that you can use to buy food and drinks inside. And there’s no shortage of bars scattered around the venue including a beautiful water bar, so you won’t have trouble using it. There’s also restaurants, access to the beach or view from a balcony, and various type of seats for days. I also loved their strong sustainability focus with only 0.5% of their waste going to landfill (compared to other 4-5 star hotels averaging 78%). They detail a lot of this near the entrance as you’re walking in, you’ll walk past all the steps they take to recycle materials and a workshop area. It’s very cool. Recommend checking this place out (and having a read if you have time)!
This was my second time coming to Potato Head Beach Club to enjoy the sunset and it never disappoints. The place is very family friendly and has such a chill atmosphere. During peak hours around sunset time, there’s a minimum spend of 150k/person, but honestly it’s worth it. The food and drinks were really good and the service was top notch. What stood out the most was how incredibly friendly and accommodating all the staff were. I left my table for quite a while to walk around the beach, leaving my bag and food behind, and they kindly watched over my belongings and even covered the food so it wouldn’t get dirty. Such thoughtful service! The music was also perfect — not too loud, still very enjoyable for chilling and having conversations while enjoying the sunset. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Bali.
We came without a reservation and the staff tried their best to help us. Dian Viska quickly arranged a daybed for us. She was very friendly, professional, and helpful during our whole visit. The other staff members were also kind and professional. Special thanks to Dian Viska. In Bali, it’s easy to find places with a beach and pool, but meeting such kind people made us feel lucky. The place was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to add more options to the menu, especially fruit bowls and smoothies for the morning.
Huge place but difficult to find seats during evening, especially near sunset. It's entrance is actually a small side road and a few minutes walk in before security check. No outside drinks, so security will keep our water for us. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. The crowd is younger than Ku De Ta with two big pools. DJ curated music playing in the background. Nice vibe.
