The pizza at Luigi’s is just okay — if you enjoy a chewy dough, this place will hit the spot, but flavor-wise it’s nothing extraordinary. What really stands out, though, is the service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and always around when you need something, which makes the dining experience pleasant. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, with a big communal vibe that’s perfect for groups or a relaxed evening out. Overall, great service and fun ambiance, but the pizza itself could be better.
Went when they just opened so was empty and quiet. Asked to charge my phone which they allowed. Service was great, food was so filling and good. Really worth the price. They have their own merchandise and stuff like that pretty cool & unique. Definitely come & check this place out!
This is the best food I have had in a while, pizza served Neapolitan style which is my favourite kind of pizza, a thin base and fresh ingredients. The employees know how to entertain and it was just a joy to sit in and dine. Special shout-out to Indra who took the time to chat with us, what a top chap! Definitely recommend this place!!
This review is especially for fellow locals/Indonesians. You need to stand up for yourself to get fair treatment as a foreigner. We pay the same amount of money in IDR, so we should receive the same treatment, without being labeled as “locals” or “foreigners.” Luigi’s on Monday is known to be good, no doubt. I love it too. Everyone who stays in Canggu knows that. I went there with my friends for my last party in Bali before my departure. We arrived at 5 PM because we wanted to have dinner first and warm up. The place was still EMPTY. We ordered pizza, drinks, etc. The experience started to go bad when the server kept pouring my pitcher drink even though I hadn’t finished it yet. I know it’s common and I appreciate the intention (thank you!), but I’m a slow drinker, please just leave me be. We realized there was a reservation at 6:30 PM. So in my mind, why were we seated at that table in the first place when there were other empty tables available? The worst part was when a group of guys arrived and the server asked if it was okay for them to join our table. Ten minutes later, when we were about to play UNO, the server suddenly told us we only had 10 minutes left. Why not direct those guys to another table (THERE WERE STILL MANY EMPTY TABLES), or move us to the side instead of rushing us out? They gave us the bill and asked us to move to a small table at the back. I didn’t get mad because I was with friends, but honestly, it was weird. Even then, I wanted to order more food, pizza, drinks, whatever, so we could keep the table. Instead, they directed us to the BAR TABLE. That would have been the THIRD time we moved. I said no and asked if we could move to a comfortable table because we wanted to play UNO. The server replied that they couldn’t and said, “So you prefer playing UNO than eating pizza?” At that point, I had enough. Girl, your pizza is not the best pizza in the world. I rarely give one-star reviews (on my history's account) because taste is subjective, everyone has different preferences. But this wasn’t about the food. This was about the EXPERIENCE. I came expecting to spend money, have dinner, drinks, and continue the party. This was my only Monday at Luigi’s, and the whole experience was ruined. Maybe locals shouldn’t bother coming. You can have the best food and quality, but for a place like this, service and attitude matter. I would rather go to an average place over and over again simply because they treat me right. We ended up having dinner at my favorite place, Chow Chow, and had a great time.
Luigi’s genuinely might be my favorite pizza place. The pizza is amazing and the staff are so welcoming and kind.
