Great place to stay if you’re looking to party. If that’s not your vibe, I would recommend staying somewhere else. The rooms are comfortable, with privacy curtains, and each room has its own bathroom. They organize lots of activities, which is great for meeting people and having fun. I wouldn’t recommend eating here, though. The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good stay and a great choice for travelers looking for a social atmosphere.

The staff were all super friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever you needed anything. A special shoutout to the manager Josh, who does an awesome job creating such a fun and social atmosphere. Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at ,if you’re coming to Canggu, you’ll definitely have a great time here. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Layday Hostel Canggu! The atmosphere is super welcoming and social, making it really easy to meet other travelers from around the world. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to give great local recommendations. The rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with a relaxed vibe that perfectly matches Canggu’s energy. The pool area is a highlight—great for chilling during the day or hanging out in the evening. The hostel also organizes fun events, which made my stay even more memorable. Location-wise, it’s perfect—close to cafes, restaurants, and the beach, but still quiet enough to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Overall, Layday Hostel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a social, comfortable, and well-run place to stay in Canggu. I’d definitely come back!

Had an amazing stay at this place. I’ve stayed at over 200+ hostels and this is definitely one of the Top 5 hostels I have ever been to. The reps and the employees are amazing and the social scene is better than any where else. Was originally supposed to stay for only three days but ended up staying for more than two weeks. Only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because I was told by one of the reps (not even the manager himself) that the manager did not want me there anymore without any sort of explanation as to why. A bit strange because again, i have been to more than 200 hostels and have never been kicked out of a hostel. Some clarity on why I am not allowed to stay and a chance for me to explain myself would have been nice. Especially considering the fact that I had spent at least 15/20 Million IDR at the hostel in the two weeks I was in Canggu. Regardless, no hard feelings and still an amazing experience while it lasted :)
