The best hotel. Everything is designed with intent. Sustainable technique, healthy food (like, the menu even explains the health benefits of each dish) amazing services and spa treatments, all in an environment from another, pre-modern world. The closest thing you’ll see to concrete is the hand-carved tunnels and elevator shaft. I thought I’d explore Bali but I had everything I needed here. I’m lucky I had to check out or I might have never left. Again, the *best* hotel.
My wife and I enjoyed a day pass here and enjoyed every minute of the experience from mud baths, ice baths and saunas. The energy this place holds is special! We ended up staying for dinner. The sambal variety was incredible and the beef randang was deliscious. Wayan, our waiter had a warm and claiming smile and was very attentive to our requests. A day to remember at Bamboo Indah!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with unique and beautiful fabrics, treasures, rare and interesting books, The food is excellent, the restaurants and Sunset Bar feature expansive valley views over forests and rice fields to the horizon. The River Warung, Spa and spring fed swimming pools in the valley are a unique and fun experience. The adventure starts by going down a one of a kind bamboo elevator, across bamboo bridges and down spiral stairs to the just above the river. Wonderful playground with spring fed swimming pools, hanging bamboo pods above the river, a bamboo clamshell copper embellished private dining pavilion, and lots of nooks and crannies to relax and rest in. This is a must stay and visit when in Bali!
Our stay at Bambu Indah was truly wonderful from beginning to end. More than a hotel, it feels like a living experience where nature, architecture, sustainability, and peace blend together perfectly. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed to connect you with the jungle, the river, and the essence of Bali itself. Waking up surrounded by nature, listening to the sounds of the forest, swimming in the natural pools, and enjoying the incredible atmosphere made this one of the most special places we have stayed at during our travels. What made the experience even more memorable was the warmth and kindness of the staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Citra and Fery for their hospitality, attention, and beautiful energy. They truly made our experience unforgettable. If you are looking for a place that combines luxury, authenticity, and a deep connection with nature, Bambu Indah is something truly unique.
I visited Bamboo Indah with friends for lunch, and it was truly a wonderful sensory experience for both the eyes and the taste buds. This place feels absolutely magical. The beautifully designed bamboo architecture is stunning – aesthetic, unique, and perfectly embedded in nature. The buildings seem to blend seamlessly into their surroundings, creating an atmosphere that feels peaceful, special, and inspiring. The food at the warung was excellent – delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service was very friendly and attentive. One of our fish dishes was not fully cooked at first, and the staff handled it so generously by offering us an extra round of drinks. I would absolutely love to stay there one night – it must be an absolute dream. Highly recommended! ✨
