I loved our stay so much that I've booked us in again this year. Beautiful building, clean & tidy, close to the city, decent food places a 2 min walk from the hotel, parking around the back. I cannot recommend this hotel enough ❤️

Absolutely loved my stay here! Extended it from 3 to 5 days due to some travel plan changes, and had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Helpful staff, fun & quirky design, great showers & toiletries, and easy location to get around (bus stops within walking distance). Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Super cute hotel if you're looking for something a bit unique. Very convenient location for events at western. The rooms are very small with minimal amenities, but are still comfortable with nice decor.

It was a winter’s day in Auckland, with a cold southerly wind cutting through to the bone, but stepping inside The Convent Hotel felt like walking into a warm embrace. The interior exudes charm and character, with our room carrying a country French feel – rustic furnishings, brass plumbing, and polished wooden floors that creak ever so slightly underfoot. We stayed in the family room 22 which fitted 3 adults and a 5yo very comfortably. The walls are adorned with eclectic and thoughtful art, each piece adding to the hotel’s unique personality. There’s a sense of history here, paired with modern comfort, that makes it more than just a place to stay – it’s an experience. The restaurant menu looked excellent, though sadly we didn’t stay long enough to try it – a reason to return next time. Conveniently located close to the city, it’s the perfect base for exploring Auckland while enjoying a touch of boutique luxury at an affordable price.

Lovely stay! Gorgeous room, comfy bed & great location. I also lost my key (don't do that) and finally I found it. The super friendly staff said "wait a few days & see if it turns up", before paying for a lock change which thankfully it did turn up. So nice to experience kindness!
