Why visit? For the most part, this is similar to other towers around the world. If you are a fan of tower attractions, I don’t think it will necessarily be memorable, but it will not disappoint. Priced reasonably in comparison to other towers. I do remember the staff being super friendly and I was amazed at how efficiently they were moving a large number of people up and down the tower. There were a few sections of see-through flooring that was heart-pounding fun. Of course, the 360-degree view of the entire city is the satisfying highlight. Why skip? Obviously, if you don’t like heights—this is not for you. Personal opinion, but I found the architecture a bit boring—inside and out. The view may be memorable, but not the tower itself. Good to know: There are multiple decks and sometimes one may be closed—confirm before purchasing (the experience is nearly the same on all decks, so any closure isn’t necessary a big deal). No reservations required—just pop in and buy tickets from the self service kiosks—it was super easy. Visiting requires no planning, so it’s easy to include this attraction at the last minute.

Excellent attraction and well worth the price paid. Great views from both main levels. An even bigger surprise was the cafe, where we had expertly made lattes and the best ice cream for less than elsewhere on the city. Well done all

Great, friendly staff. We paid the extra $15 (NZ) to have a second visit, which worked well to be able to do day and sunset+lights coming on. They take you to the first observation level, then, when you're ready, you go up to the highest level. There you can watch the people jumping off, or doing the walk! Then, they drop you at the bar area and you can walk back down to the first observation level. You can stay as long as you like.

Visited the Sky Tower recently and it was an amazing experience. The panoramic 360° view of Auckland is absolutely stunning, especially on a clear day—you can see the city skyline, harbour, and surrounding landscapes all at once. The glass floor sections add a bit of thrill and make the visit even more exciting. The staff were friendly and the overall experience was well organised. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, and tickets are slightly on the expensive side, but I still think it’s worth visiting at least once. I’d highly recommend going around sunset for the best views. A must-do attraction if you’re in Auckland!

A Must-Do Auckland Experience with Breathtaking 360° Views The Auckland Skytower delivers an excellent, grand experience from the ground up. The process is seamless thanks to great, helpful staff who guide you from ticket purchase to the high-speed lifts. The ascent itself is thrilling, especially in the glass-floored lifts that offer a dizzying preview of the vistas to come. Once at the top, the sweeping, panoramic views are simply spectacular. On a clear day, the sparkling harbour and cityscape stretch as far as the eye can see, making it worth the visit for the view alone. The experience spans multiple levels, catering to everyone: there's an outside SkyWalk for the daring and a thrilling base jump (the SkyJump) for the truly adventurous. With a good cafe, bar, and the renowned revolving restaurant on site, you can easily make an afternoon or evening of it. While I visited during the day, the night view with city lights must be equally stunning. Highly recommended—the visit pass offers outstanding value for this iconic Auckland attraction. An absolute highlight for any visitor.
