Great stay at the QT. Included à la carte breakfast was always wonderful with barista coffees included. Shannon was lovely and so welcoming, remembering us and our drink orders each morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar had a great vibe, just go early or reserve as it gets busy. Comfy beds, plush robes, and T2 teas were a nice touch. Would stay again!

Great location, easy walk to Viaduct bars and restaurants, and also in easy reach of Sky Tower and Queen Street. Lights in the room are a bit odd (it's possible to turn them all off from one side of the bed and then no lights work!) and the room was a little dark, but that's pretty minor and otherwise it's a great place to stay. Very quiet, good views of Sky Tower. Rooftop bar serves great cocktails and has fantastic views.

I stayed in a Deluxe Twin room and overall had a mixed experience. The staff were friendly and the room itself was spacious with a good layout. However, most of the twin rooms appear to face Fanshawe Street, which is a very busy main road with a direct view of the Fanshawe Street car park. I found it noisy (even on the fourth floor) and was woken by trucks and traffic. I was told there are some twin rooms on the third floor facing Customs Street West, which may be quieter, but none were available. The room doors slam shut loudly. Noise from people in the room next door and from people in the corridors was also disruptive. There is no complimentary bottled water (presumably for sustainability reasons). Instead, you can purchase a QT-branded water bottle for $25 and fill it at a water station in the corridor, or bring your own. Small improvements could be made, such as placing a rubbish bin near the tea/coffee station. I needed a replacement jug due to it leaking. Lighting in the bathroom is very dim, and I imagine it would be difficult to apply makeup there. Despite requesting housekeeping, I had to phone to have pillowcases changed as they clearly hadn’t been refreshed regularly. The staff serving breakfast were great, especially the lady who appeared to be in charge. I was accommodated with a late check out of midday which was appreciated. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are booking a twin room or for an extended stay.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff and the room I was in. I arrived at 5 AM and I had some complications with my reservation. The Front Desk was very accommodating and helped me out. Specifically Alex Duong and Vishavjeet. They made sure to explain to me my options and then give me the best offer. I will definitely be returning to QT Auckland in the future. The room was ready and wonderful! Thank you for making my trip memorable.

I can’t rate this place high enough. It was our last night go to spot to book after an owner of a Bed and Breakfast was incredibly rude to us and scared me to stay in his home. QT Auckland was the perfect location and comfy escape. The room was fantastic. I couldn’t have been happier with it. Comfy bed. Trendy and clean room.
