We came to Powestation to see Sabaton in Sept 2025... and how epic it was! And intimate concert totally worth it! Powerstation even gave free bottles of water out from the stage front for all us headbanging bogans... was actually really appreciated... and even at the end of the concert at the bar, handing out free glasses of water for the patrons, loved the care and thoughtfulness of the staff... The concert was incredible, but paired with the service and staff of Powerstation... proved for a most epic venue & experience! Thank you

love the powerstation, lined up early for one of my favourite artists (shoutout jvb) and theres nice cover to keep you out of the elements. still quite an intimate space, you can usually have a great view of the stage even from the back. always a good time 😎

Love this venue! The first time I went here was 25 years ago. Stunning photographs don the walls in a way which encapsulates spectacular musical genius and further promotes this unique live music venue with a genuine quality that most seem to lack these days. The sound quality is fantastic and all areas have good visibility of the stage. This is a venue dedicated to the musicians and those who desire a fairly intimate experience to soak up their performance. The first band I saw here was No Doubt and last weekend it was Beth Orton, with many spectacular bands in between. If there's a band you want to see and they're playing here, go!

Had totally forgotten how cool this place was, as it's been a few years since my last visit! Staff were amazing and totally seemless with entry into the venue! The queue was all the way down to the lights, and yet it moved so quickly. Bar staff were fantastic and really friendly. The ladies selling the merchandise were busy right throughout the concert, and stock sold out quickly. Fabulous night out, and this was Nothing But Thieves first time to New Zealand, with a second night added after selling out the venue. I was really surprised by the crowd, who were a really widespread bunch of fan's, but very well behaved and sang along happily to every song. From the lead singer's comment's, they will certainly be back again! Thanks Powerstation!!!
