I’m giving this a 3-star bc of two different nights I had very different service: my first night, the bartender made my cocktails as one would expect from a place that claims to be one of the top cocktail bars globally - with attention, and exactly what I wanted. The second time around, the bartender, instead of making me a Vesper, pushed a premade drink on me. The other point that really disappointed me was that their Negroni also came from a pre-mixed bottle. Pretty lazy, in my opinion, for a proper cocktail bar.

As anyone is entitled to one's option I can honestly say I'm underwhelmed - from the ambience to service... typical drinking establishment, no more. I tried Aegean negroni and original one. IMHO the original wins ten to one. Aegean negroni is their signature drink and was invented in this exact bar...I tried it... would I order it again? No.

No sign or name on the street entrance, you really have to look out for this place, only a littke plaque on the entrance of 50 best bars, is Clumsies. Great meeting place, or, for a pre dinner drink, with fantastic atmosphere and decor, your are transported to another era. A vast selection of drinks, especially cocktails, makes this an enjoyable evening.

This pub has a bar and seating area, but it wasn’t very welcoming when I arrived alone. I would have preferred to sit in the bar area. When I asked for help, I was offered an empty lounge. Later, when I ordered food, the staff was more attentive. The music was nice, the food was okay, and the crowd was pleasant. If I ever find myself in Athens again, I’ll definitely return.
