The room was very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately we did stay on a Saturday and as other reviews mention, it is very noisy - I’ve included a video showing the sound from room 101. The windows do not seem as insulated as I’ve seen in other hotels and Airbnbs in Greece, it almost sounds like there’s some kind of leak in the windows. Reception was able to provide us with earplugs, and we played white noise from Spotify using the in-room speaker so that helped.
Amazing hotel! Great location close to everything. The rooms are large with lovely balconies. A huge thanks to the staff for the exceptional service and for upgrading us to a Junior Suite. The breakfast was delicious and high-quality. Highly recommended!
The hotel gave me no reason whatsoever to think it deserved a 5-star rating. Yes, the room was very spacious and the staff was very polite, but that’s about it. The mattress was extremely soft and sunken in the middle, the TV was far too small for the size of the room, and the floors were finished with some kind of strange cement, which in no way contributed to a five-star experience. The lobby is simply ridiculous and I won’t even comment on it. The area around the hotel is incredibly noisy and overall I would not recommend it. Average at its best.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy to walk to Plaka, the acropolis, and other sites of interest. The breakfast was very nice as well. It is above a bustling pedestrian area with bars and restaurants, so expect some noise into the late evening. This was no bother to us since we are used to the noise of the city.
We had a wonderful stay at the Perianth Hotel. When I booked I requested a room with blue bedding instead of the pink and they were able to accommodate (granted it was low season in March). Knowing it was our wedding anniversary they gave us tasty snacks and a bottle of red wine in the room. Their king bed was comfortable, bathroom sizeable, and finishings very elegant. The location is also convenient to main Athens attractions, we walked to the Parthenon and Ancient Roman Agora. Service was friendly, professional and timely. It's a bit tucked away, but a cab was able to come virtually to the front entrance when we took an early morning flight to airport. You could take the subway too, but our flight was too early. There's also wonderful local restaurant basically next door called "The Traditional". Tasty food for affordable prices in the city center. I highly recommend The Perianth hotel.
