LOVE & LOVED this place, so much I returned 5 (possibly 6) times during my stay in Athens. The moment you step inside you’re hit with the most delicious smells. But also, the warmth of the kindness and hospitality. Filip is an absolute sweetheart, recommending what I should try, and remembering me each time - I was genuinely touched by the kindness here, making me feel special. Not only that, the food is absolutely delicious. Every bite makes you happy. It’s like stepping into a ‘home’. The food is made with love for sure. Honestly, the food & hospitality here has left me lasting memories, and a happy smile. I’d return to Athens just to eat here! I know I’ll be back ♥️

I recently visited Fairuz Athena and had a generally good experience. Here’s a breakdown of what I ordered: • Lahm bi Ajeen: The quality was very good, but it felt like it was missing a little something to make the flavors "pop"—perhaps a bit more salt or seasoning to give it that extra zing. • Chicken Pie: It was decent, but the seasoning had a very strong curry flavor. Personally, I would have preferred a different spice blend that complemented the chicken better. • House-Brewed Beer (Specialty): This was the highlight of the meal! Very unique and refreshing with a lovely hint of peach mixed with barley. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something different. Summary: Overall, a solid spot with great potential. With a few minor adjustments to the seasoning, it would be perfect!

Amazing food!!! The daily special or the whole menu are amazing! Super tasty, fresh ingredients, well seasoned and good sizes! The daily special is a complete delight, packed with flavors and super super tasty! The khunafe is really good and the baklava is one of the best I have ever had in my life! And the coffee is simply perfect! The staff is super nice and friendly and you get your food super fast! If I ever pass by Athens I will certainly comeback here!

If you’re on the fence about whether to dine here, Do It!! Best meal I’ve had my entire trip, you know it’s good food when you’re genuinely sad when you’ve finished. Super fresh ingredients, spiced to perfection. The bread was all handmade and authentic, not to mention the waitstaff created the most incredible atmosphere. I truly loved my dining experience and the prices were phenomenal too! This place is a steal, do yourself a favour and spend an evening in farouz!

Wow, had a wonderful dinner here tonight. The food is flavorful and fresh, highly recommend the pide, the lahmacun, the red lentil soup as well as the beet soup. The man behind the counter was so sweet and we had a nice chat. He kindly shared a taste of the beet soup with us and it was delicious. Thank you again sir not only for the amazing food but the nice conversation!
