This is just my home in Athens. The facilities are pretty good, with details like a curtain splitting the four-bed dorm in two so that more privacy can be had or quite a few toilets and showers in each and every floor. But the real difference here is the people who work here. They're just GREAT people, who take great care of you, who genuinely care about the guests they're hosting. I don't wanna pick favorites, they're all beautiful persons in their own, unique way and I'm really grateful they had me and made sure I had the best time
Well deserved high ratings. My first hostel stay and stayed for two nights in shared six person room. Lucky I had very considerate and quiet roommates. Warm greetings and positive interactions with the staff. Clean reception and kitchen. Safe and convenient neighborhood. Bag drop off available before and after stay. Didn't find out about living room in basement or rooftop until after checkout.
I recommend this hostel for any short stay in Athens - the value for money is amazing. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and in a great location. +1 for the french-speaking staff :)
For what you pay you get a really nice deal. The cabins are simple but good, the staff is super friendly. The toilets and shower are abit minimal but it's what you should expect for such a low price. I recommend this place to every budget backpacker that comes to Athens!
Stayed at BadBox Hotel in Athens and honestly loved the vibe. The room was simple and basic (good value for the money), but the atmosphere made up for it. The lobby was always alive with people, the notes and wall art gave it character, and Sophia at reception was so friendly — made me feel really good as a solo traveler to have someone kind to talk to. Everything was nearby too (shops, transport, everything). I expected a little more overall, but for the price and the vibe, I’d definitely recommend.
