Highly recommend Upon entering you see the temple of worship. Then you descend into the huge compound of markets, temples, city hall, water clock, advance water and sewage systems, built and rebuilt and expanded between 400BC for about 1000 years. Influenced by Ancient Greek Roman Persians. The museum at the end is two stories high. Download the free audio guide to listen

This is a spectacular archaeological site in the heart of Athens. It's quite large with the highlight being the beautifully preserved Temple of Hephaestus. There is also a museum on-site with lots of statues and artifacts. Make sure to use the free washrooms! If there is a queue at the entrance, there is a QR code posted right there where you can buy your tickets online, which will allow you to skip the line.

Must see site in Athens. Set just below the Acropolis, is the Agora. Great views of Acropolis from here. The highlight is the beautifully preserved Temple of Hephaestus, one of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. The children loved it. Such a great place of historical significance. Would recommend visiting this place when in Athens.

Went here on a weekday in the middle of may and there was no queue to get in. If you are in Athens you should definitely go here since it has the well preserved temple of Hephaestus and a smaller museum. Expect to spend a few hours here
