Impressive modern art gallery, able to show works of monumental proportions in the best lighting and presentation conditions. Today I saw their exposition of current Rinus Van de Velde large size drawings, some re-imaginings of his monumental decors in painted cardboard, and a really eye-catching submarine model. I feel grateful for what I have experienced there. And free entrance? Amazing.
Top-notch contemporary gallery in Antwerp. I visited on a Friday afternoon and the place was jammed (and it was well past the exhibition opening date). The gallery is located in an area that I had not visited before: the Nieuw Zuid district. It is all brand new and filled with (somewhat) high rise buildings. I discovered it on my last day in Antwerp so did not have time to explore the area further but it would be interesting to do so.
We saw an ad of an exhibition of Marcel Dzama in the Tim Van Laere Gallery on a street in Antwerp and decided to go for it. It is located between the apartment blocks on the “New south”. It is pretty big for a private gallery and there was a lot of natural light which was nice for the paintings. It was a very interesting exhibition and it was nicely displayed. Good job!
Beautiful gallery. Perfect for art expositions. Very modern designed building. Located in a neighbourhood that’s going to be a hotspot in Antwerp. Very friendly!
Lovely gallery space showcasing contemporary Artists. The gallery itself is not huge but the high ceilings make a big impact. Great vibe.
