Striking red sandstone museum with high-tech exhibitions exploring Antwerp's place in the world.via Google

A striking, 60-meter-high red sandstone tower that tells the story of the city's connection to the wider world through maritime history, art, and folklore.

Good to know
Access to the rooftop panorama deck is free and open late, offering the best view of the harbor.

I only checked out the rooftop, but wow, the view from there is amazing! And it's free, so if you want a great panoramic view of Antwerp, you totally have to go. You get totally different perspectives depending on where you look, whether it's towards the harbor or the station. One thing though, there are only escalators to get up to the rooftop. I kinda wish there was an elevator, it would've been so much easier, lol.

Love the views. Oddly I enjoyed the view form the top floor less than the others simply because on the lower floors you get to see more. Slightly askew, but more. 😆 We saw only the free exhibits. And I could've spent a lot of time there. If I lived in the city, definitely a place where I would like to go and work. Would love to go again

An architectural masterpiece that feels both futuristic and timeless. The bold geometric design, wrapped in warm red stone and glass, makes the building look like a modern fortress of art and culture. Standing beneath it, you can truly appreciate the scale, precision, and creativity behind its construction. A must-visit landmark in Antwerp — impressive from every angle, especially under a clear blue sky.”

First time visitors and it didn’t disappoint, especially the 360 degree views from the top…and a lovely sunset. Great panoramic views of Antwerpen and beyond. Exhibition was for all things martial arts, which was great for our 11 year old who does Taekwondo. Beautiful building, glad they had escalators otherwise it’d be one heck of a climb to the top.

This museum is fantastic!! All kinds of different exhibitions, like World War II in Antwerpen/Belgium, what America was like pre-Colombus. I spent 4 hours here of which 50 minutes having lunchbreak. All exhibtions are amazing and great. So.much to see and do here. They even have quiet room/space and place to play boardgames and table tennis. The guards are very kind as well. And the price entry 10 euro's is really worth it, other musea in Antwerpen are like 20. Only tiny small feedback is, the toilets are on ground floor and there are only stairs and escalators, but its fine. One of my favourite museums I ever been to. And the view is great everywhere especially on the roof.
