*Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff, but Noise from Bar and Neighbours a Drawback* The room was a decent size and we had a king bed which was very comfortable. It was a little too long for the room, but manageable. The staff were all pleasant and friendly. The location is right by the station and next to a bar. This means that what you gain for convenience for access to public transport you lose in the noise at night. We had noise two nights in a row, unfortunately, if it wasn’t the noisy neighbours at the bar, it was the noisy neighbours inside the hotel. Both are outside of the staff’s control - if you are a light sleeper then it will bother you, if you sleep like a bear then it won’t bother you at all! The staff do well to complain and escalate to local authorities, but the reality is that people will be noisy if they want to and you just have to be aware if you are visiting. We didn’t have breakfast included but it looked good. Well located, about a 20 minute stroll to Grote Markt, the area where you will find lots of bars and restaurants.
this hotel was a perfect stay for a couple of days in Antwerp! we were able to leave our luggage there upon arrival and even on departure, which was lovely. the breakfast was a real treat, especially the little jam and custard pastries. the room had a big window, the tv is easily connected to stream from your phone and it was very quiet, even tho it’s next to the station. would come back!
A good place to stay for one/two nights in Antwerp. It’s just a 2 minutes walk from the central station with a supermarket right next to it. So in terms of location you can’t get a better place. For my experience, We checked in quickly (even earlier than the check in time which was a great plus) and the staff were lovely and offered us some Belgian chocolates to start our trip. There were a couple of minor negative things: the hot water was not working in the morning(worked later in the afternoon) also the shower was a bit smelly. But I would say the room was good for its price and it had a lot of space and centrally located.
Very helpful and accommodating staff at reception. They helped a colleague find a room after a booking problem at another hotel, and to get a table at a nice restaurant one night. Note that the area can be noisy at night on the weekends. Otherwise, very pleasant stay for a work trip.
I overslept on my flix bus to Eindhoven and ended up in Antwerp unexpectedly at 2am, luckily I found hotel indigo. Massive shoutout to Viktor who let me in with a smile even considering the time and the fact I was not looking my best. He then went above and beyond by telling me about their room service and bringing me a lovely chicken risotto at 3 in the morning. Definitely would go again and Viktor definitely deserves a raise! 😅
