Delicious and fresh mussels and fries. The white wine sauce is so flavorful I just wanted to drink it up with a straw. The oysters were just ok, fresh but missing the salty brine. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is small but there is seating upstairs if outside is full.

I asked a local Philly chef his favorite places in Belgium, & Fish A’Gogo was at the top of his list. I was so pleasantly surprised with how close it was (literally within view) of Cathedral of Our Lady. The menu was simple but everything was of the highest quality. The vibes… I can’t even stress how lovely. It’s a small place, limited tables outside, but I was traveling solo so it worked out perfectly. Staff were all so nice. It just felt like the perfect quintessential travel stop.

The food was delicious. I’m gluten free, not celiac. I was able to eat the non-fried items. They were even able to adjust the seasoning to fit other allergies. The food was delicious. Would gladly come again. Staff was friendly. My husband who isn’t gluten free tried the shrimp croquettes. He said it was crunchy and delicious. The bread basket is gluten loaded. Therefore I also avoided that.

Fish A’Gogo is a small but charming seafood restaurant located right in the heart of Antwerp’s dining street. It’s easy to spot, with its casual, lively atmosphere and the delicious smell of fresh seafood that greets you as you walk by. The portions are not very large, but each dish is beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into every plate. It’s the perfect spot if you prefer tapas-style seafood, where you can try a few different dishes rather than one big meal. The place feels relaxed and friendly — great for a quick lunch, a light dinner, or a casual evening with friends. The service is also warm and efficient, which adds to the overall pleasant experience.

A must-visit for seafood lovers: Fish a’ Gogo 🐟✨ Expect perfectly fresh fish, fried to golden, crispy perfection and paired with irresistible fries. The menu offers a generous variety, making it hard to choose just one favorite. Grab a seat outside and soak in the atmosphere of Antwerp’s historic center, with a stunning view of the cathedral—pure foodie bliss.
