Right in the center of the city of Antwerp, you'll find this completely restyled and most beautiful place. We had the most welcoming reception by the team outside, immediately taking care of our car and luggage. Our room wasn't ready at arrival (we were a bit early), and they kept our luggage and found it in our rooms..... nicely organised and sorted. The room was spacious, luxurious, comfortable.... and a tiny bit noisy (you could hear doors slamming, people talking, etc. ). But that's the only negative you'll hear from me about this wonderful hotel. The bed was great, and I could have spent days in it, but we wanted to explore Antwerp a bit also. Bathroom was simply perfect, plenty of space, amazing rain shower and all the amenities you need. When we got back to our room, they had done a turn-down service, finding our clothes nicely folded on our chairs. And then the breakfast next morning..... lots of choice from the buffet, and a great selection of dishes that you can order à la carte. Sure, you have to spend quite a bit on the stay. But they do live up to the promises and make it a very special stay for you!

Room service ordered by telephone. After 45 min I called them again, and the order was lost. They did their utmost best to deliver asap , which they did We wanted to get a dring around 17:30 in the hotel bar but there was a min of 30-45 minutes waiting queue- no signs of prioritising hotel guests, so we did not want to wait Dining in the brasserie , order the filet pit. It was a very tough piece , not dierendock quality at all. Got a free glass of wine, but still for that price I expect the right quality The spa and swimming pool are top notch . High quality, great saunas, lots of small amenities- fully worth the 5 star hotel

My mother and I had the pleasure of staying at the Botanic Sanctuary while attending the Antwerp Medical Centre. Although our visit was brief—just two nights—it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the experience was defined by an extraordinary level of hospitality. Every member of the team demonstrated impeccable attention to detail, genuine warmth, and a standard of care that made us feel truly valued. It is rare to encounter such consistency in service, and it did not go unnoticed. The property itself is outstanding. The facilities are, quite simply, world-class. The spa, in particular, deserves special recognition—easily one of the finest I have experienced anywhere in Europe. Every element has been curated to perfection, creating an atmosphere of complete relaxation and refinement. Botanic Sanctuary sets a benchmark that many in the industry would do well to aspire to. It represents hospitality at its very highest level. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Dr. Xavier Le Clef. His full-body assessment was the most comprehensive and insightful I have ever experienced—truly exemplary. It is a pity we do not have someone of his calibre in London. We will most certainly return. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Botanic Sanctuari has become one of our top destinations, where everything from arrival to departure is taken care of down to the last detail by the team. This beautiful old monastery has been brought to the highest level of renovation into an ultra-luxury hotel that is unparalleled, from the beautiful rooms/suites and breakfast to the fantastic Hotel Bar, SPA, and choice of gastronomic restaurants up to 2* Michelin, with a team of staff that, without exception, makes the stay of your dreams come true for you as a customer. We have been coming here several times a year since the opening in 2022 and see that through small changes, the experience has taken a step up every time, and that is the incentive for us to return time and time again.

We were 2 couples checking in for 2 junior suites. We asked to book a table for dinner and we had been denied in all their 3 restaurants. That was really surprising to us. They then suggested us to have dinner at the bar and therefore we asked them to make a reservation there. They denied it as they apparantly do not accept reservations at the bar. Threfore they recommended us a restaurant in the nearby and asked if we had any intollerance or allergy to mention. We responded that one of our parties do not eat shellfish/mussels/raw fish. We then went to the recommended restaurant and with our surprise the menue was fix and only seafood. The service was outrageously long, it took more than 3 hours and a half. But the worse part was still to come. Two of our parties during the night got badly sick for a food intoxication. They day after, 2 of us wanted to have a brief lunch to the bar but the same blond girl that refused us the day before at the 3 restaurants, very rudly again did not offer any availability there. In short, we found the property nice but we believe the service - especially the restaurants manager - has still to learn how to service guests in an appropriate manner in line with the supposed 5 star category of the property.
