We had an amazing 1 night stay. Beautiful rooms, very friendly and helpful staff in all areas. We were able to get into the room a little early and they also gave us a late checkout because of my diamond status. The upgraded room with a view was much appreciated also. Breakfast was delicious in a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this hotel! Thanks to all staff.
I arrived at the hotel early, ordered coffee in the lobby lounge to prepare the room, waited, and was ready to go up (around 11 o'clock), so thank you for the welcome drink. The room was not spacious because it was a solo trip, but the canal from the room was really nice, and the staff were all kind and the concierge team always felt welcoming, so I was happy. As a member of Hilton Diamond, I ordered egg Benedict for breakfast, but I was a little disappointed because the bread was dry, there was no turn-down service, and I ordered simple room service for dinner, but the amount of salad was too small, so I thought I ordered a children's menu.
Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam turned into a truly exceptional experience. The location is amazing, perfectly situated to explore the beauty of the city, and the rooms were absolutely stunning, offering both comfort and elegance. A special mention to Bryghton Angunza (Bellman), who is an absolute gem and a true asset to the hotel. His professionalism and warmth made us feel genuinely welcomed every time we crossed paths. We are also incredibly grateful to Shannon Lowe, who has a remarkable ability to make guests feel valued, ensuring your loyalty is truly appreciated and acknowledged while going above and beyond to enhance your stay. The breakfast was top notch easily one of the best we’ve experienced. The quality, variety, and attentive staff truly stood out and added to the overall luxury feel of the stay. We had an amazing time in Amsterdam, and it was even more enjoyable knowing there are plenty of halal dining options in the vicinity, making it convenient and comfortable for us. Overall, a fantastic experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
My wife and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam for our five-year anniversary, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and made us feel celebrated from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth set a new standard for hospitality. Breakfast was very, very good — easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had — with high-quality ingredients and extraordinary service. We also had dinner at Spectrum, which was our first time dining at a Michelin-star restaurant, and it was truly the best meal we’ve ever had. The dishes were creative and flawless, and the staff at Spectrum made us feel so special throughout the night. Huge kudos to the entire team there for making it such a memorable experience. Overall, the service at the Waldorf Amsterdam is extraordinary. Every part of our stay felt personalized and meaningful. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a world-class luxury experience. We can’t wait to return.
There isn't much I can say about the service and property that hasn't already been said. What most impressed was simple: the coffee in the room was good. I have a nespresso machine at home, but for some reason every time I stay in a hotel with a nespresso machine the coffee is horrible. But the coffee at this hotel tasted like the coffee I make at home. It really made my morning 100% better.
