My wife and I recently stayed at The Dylan Amsterdam, and from the moment we arrived it was clear that this is a hotel operating at an exceptionally high level — largely because of its people. Throughout our stay, every interaction felt thoughtful and effortless, as though the team anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Whether it was arranging meals, offering recommendations, or accommodating last-minute requests, the staff managed everything seamlessly and with an impressive level of sophistication. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional — just calm, confident service delivered with real care. What truly stood out was the consistency. From front desk to a drink at the bar, every member of the team embodied the same standard of attentiveness and polish, creating an experience that felt cohesive and deeply relaxing. Over the course of three weeks we stayed in six different five star hotels, and without exception, The Dylan stood out as a true five star experience. From the moment we arrived we were treated like valued guests. A quiet lobby with a warm fireplace and welcome drink, to a personal tour and a walk to our room where our luggage was waiting for us. Our every need was attended to. There was not a request we made that was not met with a smile and a feeling that the entire staff was happy to accommodate. It is clear that The Dylan holds itself to a standard that goes above a five star experience, and if you’re looking for a hotel that deliver on its’ promise, look no further than The Dylan. BRAVO!

Wow. Just wow. This boutique style hotel is more than we could have ever imagined. My husband and I are self proclaimed hotel snobs. We notice the details of the operations and development side of the hotels we stay in. From the moment you arrive you are warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The staff is incredibly kind and professional without over stepping. The entire time through shift changes and different times of the day this was consistent and noticeable. The rooms were well done from lighting to comfort to soaps! Every detail and need was thought of and implemented. The nature of this boutique hotel is the historical aspect of the building. They leaned into that with a balance of keeping the charm and modern comfort. Highly recommend.

True luxury boutique hotel in great location, with an attentive staff. I cannot say enough about the staff. They are super friendly and helpful, and there was always someone there to attend to our every need with a smile. The hotel by itself is great, but the staff is what sets it apart. The Dylan was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. The staff is incredible. The room was lovely and the location is absolutely perfect. My partner and I stayed here over the winter holidays, and we would not have changed about our experience, other than making it longer. We absolutely intend to come back to Amsterdam, and when we do, there is no question, we will stay at the Dylan again.
