The property itself is stunning. The spaces are refined, atmospheric and extremely comfortable, with a strong sense of identity and quality throughout. Everything feels carefully looked after, from the public areas to the rooms, creating a feeling of quiet luxury without unnecessary excess. The room was spacious, elegant and very comfortable, with excellent cleanliness and a high level of attention to detail. It is clear that the hotel takes maintenance and housekeeping seriously, and this makes a real difference to the overall experience. The in-house services are also excellent. The all-day restaurant, the bar and the overall food and beverage offering add great value to the stay, making the hotel feel complete and enjoyable at every moment of the day. Whether for a drink, a relaxed meal or simply spending time inside the property, the experience remains consistently high-level. A special mention should also go to the service. The team was warm, professional, polite and genuinely attentive, creating a very welcoming atmosphere from beginning to end. A Perfect Silver Anniversary Celebration at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park We arrived at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park on Friday, May 8th, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in a romantic setting. From the moment we stepped through the doors until the moment we checked out, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Our experience began with a warm welcome from a wonderful young lady at the reception desk. She escorted us to the living room, where we were offered a delicious cup of coffee while she explained the hotel facilities and the surrounding area. She then personally accompanied us to our room, where our first surprise was waiting. The room had been beautifully prepared for our anniversary. We were greeted by a large "Happy Anniversary" balloon, a wonderful bottle of champagne, a delicious pastry, and a very thoughtful handwritten card from the hotel team. It was such a warm and personal touch that immediately made our celebration feel special. We were also delighted with our room itself. It was spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a special occasion. The bathroom was equally impressive and equipped with every luxury one could wish for, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. At 5:00 PM, we were invited to the cocktail bar, where we enjoyed an excellent complimentary cocktail. Afterwards, we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, VanOost. The entire dining experience was outstanding. The flavors were exceptional, and the wines were perfectly paired with each course. When we returned to our room later that evening, another surprise awaited us. The room had been transformed into a romantic setting with beautiful electric candles and rose petals scattered throughout. It was absolutely magical. The next morning, we were welcomed in the breakfast room like royalty and congratulated once again on our anniversary. Moments like these truly make guests feel valued and appreciated. While discussing our plans to visit the Rijksmuseum, one of the waitresses overheard us and kindly explained exactly how to get there. That is what I call service with a smile. Throughout our stay, everything was spotless, elegant, and well-maintained. Most importantly, every member of staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. We would especially like to thank the concierge, Stefan, whose dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail helped make our anniversary weekend truly unforgettable. He played an important role in ensuring that every aspect of our stay was special. We will certainly return to this wonderful hotel in the future and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, welcoming, and memorable stay in Amsterdam. I don’t think i have ever written a review for a hotel ever! But this I can’t wait to tell you about I have just checked in today & …. What a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. The hotel has a beautiful, calm atmosphere with the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and charm. My room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered a lovely view that made it difficult to leave. What truly made this stay special, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality made me feel less like a guest and more like someone they were truly happy to have staying with them. Small thoughtful gestures throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and made all the difference. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines beautiful surroundings with such heartfelt service, but this place does exactly that. What a perfect stay. Staff was so friendly and service was great, rooms and public spaces were spotless, and breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and great coffee. We also had incredible cocktails at Fitz's Bar, inventive, boozy, and unique. Our room had a view of the park and it was so peaceful, while also being a quick tram ride to central Amsterdam. Two lines right across the street and very convenient, I thought it would feel too far and it did not. Would absolutely stay again, overall incredible value and a well managed property.

This hotel truly exceeded all of my expectations. The location is fantastic—well connected and perfectly situated for exploring the area. The building itself is a beautifully restored historic property, renovated and designed to the highest standards, which gives the entire stay a unique and elegant atmosphere. However, what impressed me the most was the service. It is truly on another level. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel genuinely special throughout my stay. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made all the difference. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience.
