One of the strongest hostel bases for value and space, with easy ferry access to the centre and a more relaxed setting than the canal belt.

Hostel is very clean and organized. Super friendly staff. The area is very quiet and well located. There is a small grocery shop on the same block. Cons: 1- they charge to leave your luggage if you arrive before check-in time, which usually is offered for free. 2-The bathroom needs to improved as the glass around the shower does not go all the way down and every time you shower the whole toilet gets wet.
First of all, the buffet breakfast for €9.90 is unbeatable. There’s a great variety and everything is fresh and well organized. My only tip: try to arrive right when it opens at 7:00 AM, because it can get quite busy later in the morning. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, perfect for resting after long days exploring Amsterdam. What I appreciated most was how simple and efficient the check-in and check-out process is. Even if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, everything is very straightforward. During my stay I had a stressful situation with my luggage due to an issue with Iberia Airlines. I was honestly a bit panicked, but the staff went above and beyond to help me navigate the situation. A special shout-out to Letizia, who was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the whole ordeal. That level of hospitality really makes a difference when you’re traveling. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great value, comfortable stay, excellent breakfast, and truly supportive staff. When I come back to Amsterdam, I will definitely book here again.
The facility was nice in general but i cant say the staff was the most helpful. I asked at the reception if I can cancel the last night of my several days’ stay and given the answer “no”, so I had to pay an extra night of city tax. But when I checked out early, I found that they actually CAN cancel it with a few clicks on their end. A bit more effort and patience when a customer needs help maybe :)
Very cozy place for travelers and to work remotely from. I really like the spacious room with a glass ceiling. Never tried the menu but the food looks and smells good. But the coffee needs improvement. Nevertheless I give it 5 stars because of the super nice staff, especially Timo is a natural sweetheart spreading positive energy effortlessly.
It’s relatively clean, with a lot of amenities. However, the rooms are a little worn, and it feels as if they put all the money towards the lobby and not the rooms. The vibe is very weird, it’s somewhat social. The showers do have hot water, and the toilets were clean. There is a grocery store 5 mins walk away. The main issues is how expensive everything is there, the bar the drinks are expensive, as well as the breakfast. However it’s a ok hostel, definitely a hotel vibe not a hostel vibe.
