To the wonderful team at ITC Mughal, Agra, We just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for making our experience so memorable. There were mild hiccups at the starting, however prompt response from front desk team and resident manager Mr. Chirag, made things so wonderful for the balance stay that our experience became exquisite none the less. Special thanks to Chef Inderpal – the food was absolutely outstanding! Every dish had so much love, flavor, and authenticity. My eight year old son is not comfortable with even mildly spicy food. Chef Inderpal made sure every meal he had was as per his taste and preferences. His efforts truly brought the spirit of fine dining to life on our plates. We are truly thankful for his special hospitality towards our family during each of our meals. Mr. Shaktik also was very considerate and guided the team to provide great services to us, every time. A special mention for Mr.Vikrant and Mr.Bhim. Thank you for your warmth and attention to detail. Your gracious service, friendly smiles, and genuine care made us feel like royalty. It’s rare to find service that’s so professional yet so personal. The warmth of the people at this property keeps bringing us back and this was our 6th visit at this beautiful resort in last 3 years. ITC Mughal is beautiful, but it’s people like these who make it unforgettable and add to the grandeur of thd overall experience. We’ll be recommending you to everyone and can’t wait to come back! With gratitude, Sheetal and Pankaj Chadha
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff’s behavior was exceptional—courteous, attentive, and kind. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The breakfast was super delicious with a great variety and excellent taste. The hotel is very kid-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were big, spacious, and extremely comfortable. . The location is another big advantage—it is very close to the Taj Mahal and Sadar Bazaar market, which was awesome and made sightseeing and shopping very convenient.
Our Stay at ITC Mughal We recently stayed at the ITC Mughal and had a mixed experience. While the service was consistently excellent, we encountered a few frustrating issues regarding room maintenance and facilities. **The Service Highlights** The staff truly made our stay memorable. We want to extend a special thank you to **Kumarpal** in housekeeping for being so prompt and helpful throughout our stay. At Bano restaurant, **Mr. Bhim, Ms. Barsha, Mr. Pratik, and Mr. Shivam** were outstanding; they were incredibly attentive, caring, and always served with a warm smile. **Room Maintenance & Design Issues** Unfortunately, the room itself fell short in a few areas: * **Safety Concern:** The handle near the bathtub was loose. As we rely on it for stability when getting up, it was quite alarming when it came off on one side. This is a significant safety risk that needs immediate repair. * **Design Flaw:** The bathroom sink tap is too short for the basin, causing water to splash outside the sink every time we washed our hands. A longer nozzle would easily resolve this. * **Connectivity:** The hotel’s Wi-Fi was quite patchy. We frequently had to switch to our mobile data just to get a stable connection. **Dining & Amenities** The breakfast spread was standard fare, offering the usual variety of idli, vada, dosa, poha, and aloo paratha, alongside continental options like baked beans, bread, and pastries. It was adequate, though not particularly inventive. On a positive note, the property itself is beautifully maintained—it is neat, clean, and well-kept. The swimming pool was a highlight as well, with very clean water and well-maintained tiles.
A really enjoyable stay overall at ITC Mughal and, in particular, excellent value for the level of property and facilities offered. The gardens are a real highlight — huge, peaceful, and a lovely place to walk around and relax. The property itself has a lot of charm and character, although in places it is beginning to feel a little tired and could benefit from some investment and refreshing. The gym was excellent, very well equipped. Could do with some heavier dumbbells but otherwise very good. Service overall was warm and friendly, and status recognition was handled very well, which was appreciated. A special mention to Mohit from housekeeping and Sonpal from the laundry team, both of whom stood out for their friendliness and genuine attitude throughout the stay. There were a couple of small niggles during check-in and check-out, and I think the front office team could perhaps benefit from some additional training and polish in consistency and communication. Nothing major, but noticeable compared to the otherwise strong hospitality shown elsewhere in the hotel. Overall though, a very pleasant stay with a lot to like, and I would happily return.
“Stunning property with potential, but breakfast service needs refining.” I recently stayed at ITC Mughal, and while the property is undeniably beautiful—lush gardens, serene walkways, and a grand atmosphere—I found the service to be inconsistent. I was kindly upgraded to a suite, which was lovely and spacious. However, breakfast service was not up to standard. I had to remind the staff multiple times for my order, and the overall attentiveness was lacking. The spread felt a bit underwhelming, and staff were chatting loudly amongst themselves. That said, a special mention to Rahul, who was courteous and attentive. Overall, it’s a stunning place, but the service could be polished to match the luxury.
