*Hotel Taj Resort, Agra – 3/5 ⭐* *Paid dinner was very good, but complimentary breakfast was unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.* *Dinner*: We ordered paid dinner and it was excellent. Food was fresh, hot, tasty, and well-presented. Full marks to the chef for dinner service. *Breakfast*: Complete opposite. *Complimentary breakfast was not at all good* and *not fresh*. For a 4-star hotel, this is shocking: 1. *Idlis were rock hard* – clearly old 2. *Sambar was so baasi* – stale, tasted like previous day 3. *Vermicelli was not tasty* – bland, no flavor 4. *Puris were so fat* – dripping with oil, inedible *I expected more from a 4-star hotel.* How can the same kitchen deliver very good paid dinner but such baasi breakfast? Clearly a freshness/quality control issue for complimentary buffet. *Management*: Please fix your breakfast. You’re capable of good food — dinner proved it. Don’t ruin guest experience by serving stale breakfast.

Very impressive hotel. The rooms were good and the location superb. You can genuinely walk to the Taj and the road the hotel is on doesn't allow access for private cars so is quite a peaceful and safe walk. The hotel terrace has a great view of the Taj and has a nice clean pool. The restaurant on the terrace is absolutely fantastic. With great staff, Heat lamps for the cold evenings, live music and a good mix of Indian and Continental foods. Though from our experience the Indian food is better than the western, as is to be expected. The staff in the hotel were great and the reception were really helpful by organising guides and taxis for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The stay was excellent, and the staff were extremely courteous and attentive throughout our visit. 10 minute walk to Taj Mahal .Rooftop swimming pool is available. The food and overall service were truly top-notch, and the breakfast spread was also very good with great quality and taste.The people in the food section was excellent. One small suggestion for improvement: during dinner at the rooftop restaurant, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, which slightly affected the dining experience. Using mosquito control measures such as repellents, All Out, or smoke coils would make the rooftop dining even more comfortable for guests. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a highly satisfying experience.

Our stay at Hotel Taj Resort was truly wonderful. The ambience of the hotel is calm, elegant, and very well maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms and common areas are clean and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay very comfortable. One of the highlights was the rooftop dining area. The view from the top is absolutely stunning, especially with the beautiful sight of the Taj Mahal. The setup is perfect for enjoying a peaceful meal with family, and the overall experience there was memorable. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent and up to a very high standard. There was a good variety of fresh and tasty options, and everything was well presented and hygienic. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Hotel Taj Resort to anyone visiting Agra for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Really lovely hotel. Helpful friendly staff, rooms were a good size and quiet, air con worked, and fridge. Impressed with buffet breakfast which they changed Variety each morning. Great location to walk to the Taj. Dinner on the roof was very good and reasonably priced (for hotel prices). Would definitely recommend!
