One of the oldest British pubs in the city, hosting live cover bands and sports screenings.

Staying at the Sheraton, I decided to give them a try. Overall, it was good with the hops and food being the highlight. The tavern is a very old pub with its own regulars and that might be good for some. While I enjoyed my time, they need to do more to attract new crowd. A combination of Crew Republic and a burger with a Liverpool live match. Give them a try if you’re in the neighborhood.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming English pub, and I must say, the experience was quite delightful overall. The ambiance was cozy and authentic, but there were a few things that stood out. Let's start with the food—absolutely excellent! Each dish was cooked to perfection, with rich flavors and generous portions. We ordered nachos, tower sandwich, calamari and tempura. However, the service did have a slight drawback. While the staff were friendly and attentive, the lighting in the pub was a bit dim. It added to the cozy atmosphere but could be improved for practicality. Despite this small issue, I would highly recommend visiting this pub for its delicious food and authentic ambiance. It's a great spot to enjoy comforting dishes and soak in the old-world charm of an English tavern.
Good food and service! Great atmosphere, especially this lovely couple from Cuba!
Forgot to take photos of the food as we were too hungry. We had the Fish and chips, Beef Fajitas, Charcoal Bun Burger. A bit smoky as it is a pub. Nice evening overall with good service, beer and pub food.
Boring.. boring boring.. the beer is okay.. but otherwise nothing great unfortunately.. and nowhere does it say that it is a sports bar.. watch past match reviews and no songs/ music at all .. 😕
