Qasr Al Watan – impressive, but crowded and restrictive Qasr Al Watan is an interesting place to visit, but be prepared. Compared to my first visit, things have changed a lot. I went again during the Christmas season, and it was extremely crowded. We waited at least one hour just to get in. Dress code matters. Do not wear anything that could be considered too short or too revealing. If your outfit doesn’t meet their standards, you can be refused entry, no discussion. The palace itself is huge and very impressive architecturally. Visually, it’s powerful and worth seeing. However, the experience involves a lot of waiting and moving through long lines, which takes away from the visit. Once you’re done, you leave the site by shuttle bus that takes you back to the exit area or parking. Logistics are well organized, but it still feels very controlled. Bottom line: worth visiting for the architecture and symbolism, but expect crowds, strict rules, and patience-testing queues, especially during peak season.

a must see especially those visiting abu dhabi first time, this place has a massive halls and garden place, high ceilings and the arts displayed inside. I recommend to go around 4pm for tour inside and watch the palace in motion light show which usually starts at 7:45pm

Honestly, I don't recommend visiting the inside. Large, empty rooms, few exhibitions, and no significant historical value. It's better to see it from the outside; it's a waste of time to go in. P.S. At the end, you fill out a survey on a tablet. An employee saw it and commented that I wasn't particularly happy. He took the tablet away before I finished answering, and the survey likely wasn't saved to avoid damaging the statistics.

Without a doubt one of the coolest places I’ve seen. The palace is breathtaking. So many beautiful details to take in and the scale of it is extraordinary. A must-visit in Abu Dhabi, and I say that as a resident here. The dance between the golden and blue colors in this palace is so elegant. Catch the sunset once you exit because it gives a calm feeling to the place. Got a coffee on my exit, there’s sandwiches and icecream available too which is really cool. Outdoor seating area and fountains are amazing. A complete package. I can’t recommend this palace enough.

Qasr Al Watan is absolutely breathtaking. The architecture is stunning, and the entire palace has such a serene, peaceful energy. You could easily spend a whole day wandering through the halls and gardens just soaking it all in. A truly beautiful and must-see experience!
