It’s a two hour cruise on a traditional dhow. The lower deck is air conditioned and this is where the food is served. Upper deck is where the guests relax before and after food. The service is quite cordial and pleasant. There are two choices on the premium food menu. One is mixed grill and second option says sea food but only lobster medallion is served. Soft drinks is served throughout. A pleasant and relaxing experience.
Had my first dhow cruise experience last October with Al Dhafra and it was great! At first, I booked it for a Thursday evening, however they called me on the day saying that the license needs to be renewed hence the cruise would need to be postponed. They did, however, offer me to come to the restaurant that same evening for a free dinner for the inconvenience. The food and service was excellent at the restaurant and at the dhow (which I availed the day after). Though the food was slightly cold at the dhow it still delivered - my friends and I enjoyed the trip. Loved the seafood platter, seafood soup, and spinach dip by the way! Thanks to Mr. Talal and staff for everything! Would definitely come back again when I have guests. :)
We spend nice time there .. the staff are kind and nice .. the boat is good but the food (Dinner) was not as expected like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. But overall it was nice experience in good weather.
Nice staff specially thanks to Sam for good service
Average experience and nothing exciting..
